We are seeking a dedicated Remote Help Desk Analyst to provide exceptional technical support in a dynamic IT environment. This role involves assisting users with hardware, software, and network issues, while ensuring timely and effective resolutions. The analyst will serve as the first point of contact for technical inquiries, documenting interactions and escalating complex problems as needed. Accountabilities

  • Respond to technical support requests via email, chat, and phone, ensuring timely resolutions.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, including operating systems and applications.
  • Provide guidance and training to users on IT systems and software applications.
  • Document support interactions and solutions in the ticketing system for accuracy and knowledge sharing.
  • Escalate complex issues to senior staff or appropriate departments as necessary.
  • Collaborate with team members to identify and implement improvements in support processes.
  • Stay current with product updates, system changes, and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of support strategies and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Strong understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and technology troubleshooting.
  • Proficient in resolving technical issues and providing user guidance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to convey technical information to non-technical users.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and remote support tools.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote setting.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+ or ITIL are a plus.
