We are seeking a highly skilled Fullstack Product Software Engineer to contribute to the development and enhancement of a secure document management and sharing platform. In this role, you will design and implement scalable, user-friendly features while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and fellow engineers. You will have high ownership over projects, from initial concept to deployment, and the opportunity to influence the product roadmap in a fast-growing, dynamic environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable with both frontend and backend development, thrives in agile settings, and is passionate about delivering exceptional user experiences while working on impactful, high-visibility projects.
Accountabilities:
- Handle full-stack projects and deliver minimum viable products efficiently.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to translate requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
- Participate in continuous deployment processes, including code reviews and production deploys.
- Debug and resolve customer issues using logs, metrics, and traces.
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new product features, with a focus on user experience.
- Participate in on-call rotations as required, ensuring platform reliability during both core and non-core business hours.
- Adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced work environment, embracing continuous learning and professional development.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in software engineering or related roles.
- BS degree in Computer Science or a technical field involving coding, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and React for web application development.
- Experience developing and deploying large-scale web applications with user-focused design.
- Comfort working in agile, fast-paced environments with continuous deployment and rapid iteration practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to balance technical requirements with business goals.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Typescript, GraphQL, HAML, and PostgreSQL.
