In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize high-performance firmware and software for advanced embedded platforms used in connected devices and IoT systems. You will work across Linux, Android, or real-time operating systems to implement modular, scalable features and validate them through automated testing. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, influence the architecture of next-generation telematics solutions, and contribute to the evolution of vehicle connectivity and IoT products. You will engage with complex hardware and software stacks, troubleshoot multi-core architectures, and ensure reliable communication protocols. Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance firmware and software for embedded platforms.
- Debug, optimize, and validate software on complex multi-core architectures.
- Develop automated and unit-level functional tests to ensure feature accuracy and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features across the software stack.
- Integrate and validate communication protocols such as CAN, UART, Ethernet, and vehicle infotainment systems.
- Contribute to the development of IoT and telematics solutions from embedded systems to backend connectivity.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in software development.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in embedded systems software development.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent technical field.
- Strong programming proficiency in C, C++, or Java for embedded systems.
- Experience with multi-core ARM processors, Linux/Android OS, IoT platforms, and vehicle communication systems.
- Knowledge of operating system concepts such as thread scheduling, memory management, and context switching.
- Familiarity with automotive protocols (J1939, J1587, J1850) and wireless technologies (WiFi, Bluetooth, V2X).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a collaborative, agile environment.
- Optional: experience with consumer electronics or telematics platforms is a plus.
