We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Management Analyst to support a major cloud migration initiative involving hundreds of enterprise applications. The role focuses on ensuring accurate, complete, and accessible application data to facilitate enterprise architecture and migration decisions. You will collect, analyze, and maintain critical data across multiple platforms while collaborating closely with technical teams and application owners. This position requires strong organizational skills, proficiency with data management tools, and the ability to create repeatable, scalable processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, analytical, and comfortable managing multiple data sources independently, while maintaining high standards for quality and documentation.
Accountabilities:
- Gather detailed information on existing applications by interviewing application owners and technical teams.
- Develop and administer surveys and data collection tools to capture key application attributes.
- Enter, manage, and maintain application data in platforms such as ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture, Excel, and Microsoft Access.
- Design scalable and repeatable processes for collecting, updating, and tracking application data.
- Maintain a centralized repository to support cloud migration efforts and enterprise architecture planning.
- Build and manage data imports/exports between systems and validate existing reports for accuracy and completeness.
- Document workflows, process flows, and data management procedures to ensure consistency and accessibility.
- Follow up with stakeholders to verify and complete submitted data.
Requirements
- Strong experience in data management, data gathering, and quality assurance.
- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Microsoft Access is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks independently.
- Experience with ServiceNow Enterprise Architecture or similar tools preferred.
- Understanding of cloud migration projects or enterprise IT infrastructure is a plus.
- Highly analytical mindset with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to document processes, take thorough notes, and follow up effectively with stakeholders.
- Proactive and self-motivated, capable of working in a fast-paced, remote environment.
