Job Description:
At Job Duck, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Support Specialist to provide comprehensive litigation support within a fast-paced family law practice. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an analytical environment, enjoys working closely with clients, and can confidently contribute to strategic case development. The selected candidate will play a key role in supporting legal operations, ensuring accuracy across documentation, and efficiently driving cases from initiation to resolution. You will collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to eliminate bottlenecks and maintain high-quality standards, all while managing a dynamic workload. This position is perfect for a proactive professional who values precision, accountability, and impactful legal work.
• Monthly Compensation Range: From 1,142 to 1,220 USD
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage and respond to daily client communications and calls
- Support back-office legal operations and workflow implementation
- Assist attorneys with strategic case planning and execution
- Meet with clients and maintain professional, clear communication
- Identify inefficiencies and support improvements to streamline case progression
- Maintain organized case files and documentation within Clio
- Generate reports and affidavits related to spousal support, alimony, and equitable distribution
- Provide litigation support, including legal drafting and preparation of legal documents
- Review and analyze discovery responses to ensure completeness and accuracy
Requirements:
• 1-2 years of experience working as a legal assistant or in a law firm
• Strong legal drafting skills are a must
• Knowledge of Family Law is preferred but not required
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (Spanish is a plus)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Proficiency in AI tools and legal technology platforms

• Expected call volume: Moderate to heavy (16-30 calls per day)
