What you will do:

• Develop and scale Emma's backend infrastructure, addressing challenges related to data processing and system performance.

• Implement new features and integrations, contributing to an intense product roadmap for the UK's #1 finance app.

• Utilize a modern tech stack including TypeScript, gRPC, Vitess, MySQL, and Google Cloud Platform to build robust solutions.

The ideal candidate:

• Possesses at least 5 years of professional software development experience, ideally with a focus on backend systems.

• Thrives in autonomous, high-responsibility environments and holds themselves to high engineering standards.

• Is driven to learn new skills, takes ownership of their work, and is excited by Emma's mission to revolutionize personal finance.
