We are hiring for a Specialist, Epic Solution Delivery to play a key role in supporting our billing operations. In this position, you’ll manage and resolve cases within the Epic billing queue, ensuring visibility across claims, routing, and billing processes. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow—not just in billing, but across the entire Epic ecosystem—while gaining exposure to a wide range of client operations.
What You'll Do:
- Configuration Design: Assists in the configuration of Epic systems to meet client needs, based on collected requirements.
- Product Development: Works on design, build, and validation of specific features or modules within the Epic system, with minimal supervision. More hands-on with development tasks than the support-focused role of a Level 2.
- Troubleshooting Support: Identifies and resolves moderately complex issues within the system. May also act as a support resource for users or other team members, requiring little to no supervision to resolve issues and complete build tasks.
- Implementation: Assists in the implementation of Epic solutions, which may include helping to execute go-live procedures and post-implementation support.
- Requirements Gathering: Works with clients and internal stakeholders to gather functional and technical requirements. May also write and document functional specifications.
- Testing Validation: Participates in the testing and validation of configurations, ensuring that the systems meet the needs of the organization and users.
- Collaboration: Collaborates with other team members (e.g., developers, architects, project managers) to meet project goals.
- Solution Throughput: Often responsible for all aspects of Epic EHR solution delivery, including discovery, design, build, testing, and ensuring migration of build solutions through the path-to-production adhering to all change management and data migrations requirements.
What You'll Need:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, IT, informatics, or related field.
- Epic certification in one or more relevant applications completed and maintained.
- 3-5 years of experience in the Epic EHR environment specifically.
- Strong hands-on experience with Epic modules, typically in a specific area like Epic Patient Access, EpicCare Ambulatory, Epic Professional Billing.
