What You Will Be Doing:

We are looking for an experienced Conga CPQ Administrator to assist with the on-going support and maintenance of our enterprise scale Conga CPQ (formerly Apttus) application, who has a passion for technology, solving business problems and interacting directly with business users.

The role is an integral part of our IT CPQ support team. This role needs to work collaboratively with our global business stakeholders and IT teams to deliver continuous application and process improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Administrator and configure our Conga CPQ (formerly Apttus) application
  • Implement, test, and support Conga CPQ changes. Provide expert knowledge and guidance in CPQ functionalities and best practices to perform enhancements, operational support, and bug fixes as needed
  • Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice and scalable solutions
  • Lead the identification and resolution of issues quickly, leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proactive Conga CPQ system maintenance
  • Maintain strong partnership with business stakeholders and stay-up-to-date with related business processes for Sales, Quote-to-Cash, and Renewals
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Collaborate with cross-functional business stakeholders and technical teams to validate business requirements and project specification documents
  • Manage multiple activities across multiple projects
  • Mentor team members on Conga CPQ Administration
  • Proactively seek opportunities to improve existing systems and processes and contribute to ongoing optimization efforts

Technical Requirements:

  • Strong experience and proficiency in designing and configuring functionalities and capabilities on Conga CPQ (formerly Apttus)
  • Technical knowledge and hands-on experience on Conga’s Product Configuration Administration including (but not limited to): developing complex product structures, attributes, options, bundles, inclusion rules, recommendation rules, constraint rules
  • Technical knowledge and hands-on experience on Conga’s Pricing Administration including (but not limited to): developing complex pricing rules, price dimensions, promotions, price lists, price list items
  • Experience with Conga Workflow Approval and Quote Collaboration
  • Experience with template administration for Conga X-author and Composer
  • Experience with general Salesforce administration and management including (but not limited to): user setup, roles, profiles, permissions, data management, and configuration changes (fields, page layouts, record types, actions, workflows, custom settings)

What You Will Bring To The Team:

  • 3+ years of experience with Conga CPQ Administration (formerly Apttus)
  • Conga CPQ Product Administration Certification
  • Conga CPQ Developer/Administration Certification is a plus
  • Experience with migrations utilizing Demand Tools and X-Author is a plus
  • 3+ years of experience as a Salesforce Administrator, or similar role is preferred. Salesforce Administrator Certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of Salesforce integrations and Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Framework is a plus
  • Experience with project issue tracking tools such as JIRA is a plus
  • Experience in delivering software projects using Agile methodology
  • Experience with multiple CPQ implementations

As required by the equal pay and transparency acts in those states that require it, the expected base salary for this position is:

Base Salary Range - $90K – $140K

The expected pay is determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, depth of experience in the practice area. Employees are eligible to participate in Hitachi Vantara’s bonus/variable/commission pay programs, where applicable, and are subject to the program’s conditions and restrictions.
