Common Stack - Digital Strategist

Commons Stack’s mission is to enable communities to create microeconomies around Public Goods. We serve as an open source web space for blockchain4, non-profits, and public resource entities to flourish in a regenerative way where the value they produce can be explicitly recognized as valuable. We build cultural and technical tools that help altruistic organizations raise funds, organize, allocate resources, maintain transparent decision-making processes, and monitor progress. Commons Stack is a not-for-profit organization, depending on donors and members to thrive. Real change and impact requires resources.

Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Digital Strategist to join our team. This person will help us refine our online presence, identify personas we can target, and lead in our proposal & outreach efforts.

Job Responsibilities

• Set financial targets and create strategies for reaching the targets.

• Create a strong Common Stack that appeals to potential donors.

• Identify and contact potential donors and Trusted Seed Members.

• Create a marketing “pitch” package that represents the mission and values of the Common Stack story. 

• Collaborate with other team members and team leads.

• Use online platforms to raise donations.

• Lead Gitcoin grants and grant submissions.

• Organize campaigns and events to solicit donations.

• Maintain records of donor information.

• Research and develop fundraising opportunities, prospective supporters, including single events and detailed campaigns

• Have previous experience in digital marketing strategy, business development and public relations.

• Enjoy building and maintaining relationships.

• Be comfortable with accepting and applying constructive criticism.

• Have basic knowledge of Web3/Crypto.

• Maintain a flexible schedule, as our team navigates time zones all over the world.

• Be fluent in written and verbal English.

• Maintain confidentiality.

• We are also looking for people with a strong network in the Ethereum community. Experience fundraising for large projects and a history in the crypto VC world is a major plus.
