Australia onlyWe are seeking a Senior Economist to deliver high-quality economic research, forecasting and analysis focused on the Australian residential property market. As a key member of the Analytics & Insights function, you will contribute to Economic Research and Thought Leadership, with insights that inform Domain's Residential strategy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in economics, econometrics or quantitative analysis, with a strong track record in economic modelling, forecasting and research.
- Demonstrated experience in residential property or housing market research.
- Advanced analytical capability, with experience interpreting economic, statistical and demographic data to generate clear and robust insights.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear, accessible and engaging narratives.
- Experience working with economic data frameworks (including ABS, national accounts and CPI) and applying quantitative methods.
- Experience working within research or analytics teams and contributing to shared outcomes.
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Econometrics, Statistics or a related field (Masters or first-class honours preferred).
