We're Convictional. Convictional is a Y-Combinator-backed company building an industry-leading infrastructure software for B2B trade. We exist to make B2B trade easier for our customers (enterprise retailers, marketplaces, and distributors) to digitally enable all of their suppliers. Our customers use Convictional to onboard, integrate, and manage their suppliers in order to make B2B trade easier.

Thousands of companies rely on Convictional to automate B2B trade, whether our customers are seeking to expand their online assortment with new SKUs, enable a marketplace business model to reduce inventory risk, or automate inventory replenishment, Convictional's platform solves multiple pain points in transacting with suppliers. We call this category of enterprise software Seller Enablement. Convictional is seeking an influential member of our founding Go-To-Market team to cement our leadership within this emerging category.

We believe flexibility is important, as time is your most valuable resource. We are a fully distributed team with people located in Toronto, Waterloo, NYC, Arizona, Los Angeles, and Vancouver. We don't care where you work, so long as you are accessible to the prospects and customers that you sell to. You set all your hours - if you’d rather work at 10pm instead of 10am, we’re cool with that. We use email, not messaging apps, we default to no internal meetings, and Deep Work Wednesdays. We expect you to go to coaching or therapy at least occasionally and adhere to 10% compound time.

About the role

We are seeking an Enterprise Account Executive who will grow revenue by

  • Building a book of business including enterprise retailers, marketplaces (B2B and B2C), and distributors across North America that results in 100% quota attainment in your first year with Convictional

  • Successfully sourcing and closing full sales cycles for U$150K+ ARR opportunities

  • Winning highly competitive deals by positioning Convictional as the Seller Enablement Platform of choice to enterprise buyers segments

  • Designing and presenting product narratives and insights to executives within named accounts

  • Working with company leaders from multiple functions (e.g., Engineering, Product, Customer Success, and Marketing) to lead product workshops and prepare/present ROI analyses

  • Leading and contributing to team projects to develop and refine our sales process

Our Enterprise Account Executive

  • Is an incredible communicator, remotely and in-person

  • Enjoys the challenge of getting in the room with economic buyers and working with complex organizations to find and close great fit deals

  • Functions optimally in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment

  • Is comfortable communicating the value of API-based integrations to non-technical and technical stakeholders


  • 7+ years selling enterprise software to large accounts, including integration or ecommerce platforms

  • Has owned enterprise software quotas of at least U$1M+

  • Demonstrates success with deal values in excess of U$150K per year

  • Evidences proven ability to lead complex negotiations involving bespoke commercial agreements

  • Experience selling to technical stakeholders would be valuable, but not mandatory
