Job Description
Kōrero mō te tūranga | About the role
Here at Contact, we believe in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration and we’ve invested in setting up an Agile Value Stream operating model for all the teams that contribute to selling products and services to Contact’s customers.
As the Agile Ways of Working Manager, you will report directly into the Head of Retail Change, with the purpose of the role to get hands on, to guide and support our people in embracing and embedding Agile principles and practices.
In addition to leading a home team of Agile practitioners, you will coach squads, leaders, and stakeholders, promote Agile methodologies, remove impediments, and ensure that Agile ways of working are successful and drive further sustainable business transformation.
Some of your key focus in this role:
Continue the evolution: Lead the value stream to evolve our ways of working, focusing on portfolio level change - working with key stakeholders to drive improvements to funding, capacity and operational models.
Unify the value stream: Reduce silos and create a unified value stream, bringing together the different business units that make up the value stream.
Create alignment: Work with other business units to align agile ways of working and drive improvement activities, with your peers in other business units.
Some of the ways you’ll do this:
Coaching and Mentoring: Provide coaching and mentoring to Agile squads, Scrum Leads, Product Owners, Product Management Group, Value Stream Leadership Team, Transformation Office and other stakeholders to foster an Agile mindset and facilitate Agile practices. Support and nurture our people with their development in Agile ways of working
Agile Training: Develop and deliver Agile training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team members' and stakeholders’ understanding of Agile principles and practices.
Metrics and Reporting: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of Agile ways of working and report progress to leadership.
Qualifications

You will bring a wealth of experience (5+ years) as an agile practitioner in an agile coach/scrum lead role or similar. You bring with you great experience in Agile scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, Scrum@Scale, LeSS), and Agile collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Miro).
