- This role is about leading and shaping customer conversations around the future of work in the new age of AI. The consultant will work closely with stakeholders across the business, from C-Suite to technical leads, to guide thinking, capture requirements, and define use cases and MVPs. The focus is on ideation, advisory, and helping customers understand the art of the possible – particularly using Microsoft Cloud technologies — particularly Copilot, AI Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Microsoft Fabric, and Power Platform.
- A key part of the role is to help customers understand and navigate the journey towards becoming a “Frontier Firm” — that is, an organisation that systematically adopts AI and automation to drive productivity, client value, and operational resilience. This means helping customers move beyond experimentation, towards embedding AI assistants and agents into everyday work, and ultimately shaping a roadmap for phased adoption and maturity.
- Working in a small team, under the guidance of senior advisory leader, you should be able to curate business and technical requirements into demonstrable value for customers, while continuously developing your own skills and certifications.
- The typical applications we build use existing closed or open-source foundational models, potentially with some the application of multi-modal, contextual RAG, fine tuning, MCP and other emerging GenAI capabilities. We put emphasis on utilising existing data sources and Microsoft Dataverse and Fabric as a foundational data platform enabling wider AI use cases for our customers.

Facilitate structured workshops to explore automation and AI opportunities, using design thinking and change frameworks to guide the conversation. Help customers identify where they are on the “Frontier Firm” journey and what the next steps look like.
Capture Requirements & Shape Use Cases
Work with stakeholders to define business needs, capture requirements, and shape them into actionable use cases and MVPs — with a particular focus on scenarios that move the customer from experimentation to systematic adoption (e.g. AI assistants, digital agents, workflow automation).
Provide Strategic Advisory
Act as a trusted advisor, helping customers understand what’s possible with Microsoft Cloud technologies and how to align their ambitions with value-based practical outcomes. Guide customers through the phases of AI adoption, from initial pilots to broader, systematic use.
Engage Stakeholders Across the Business
Build relationships across customer organisations — from senior leadership to technical teams — and ensure alignment throughout the engagement.
Apply Frameworks to Structure Thinking
Use frameworks like PROSCI and SAFe to support change management, agile planning, and stakeholder alignment.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Maths, Physics or related field
- Degree in Data Science, AI, Statistics desirable but not essential.
- Familiarity with design thinking, PROSCI, and SAFe.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Cloud technologies — Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Azure AI, Dataverse, Microsoft Fabric
- 3+ years’ commercial experience (including internships or placement year) in customer-facing consulting roles, ideally within a Microsoft Partner or similar environment.
- Experience leading ideation and requirements workshops.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum ways of working and participation in sprint ceremonies
- Exposure to ETL/ELT pipelines, data modelling, or ML/AI workloads.
- Exposure to SME and small enterprise customers, ideally in regulated sectors like legal or finance
- Experience helping organisations move from AI experimentation to systematic adoption.
