As a Senior Accessibility QA, you will lead accessibility testing initiatives for web and mobile applications, ensuring compliance with WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) and ADA standards. By collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will integrate accessibility best practices throughout the development cycle, ensuring high-quality deliverables that enhance user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead accessibility testing initiatives on web and mobile applications, ensuring compliance with WCAG and ADA standards.
Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks using Java and relevant tools to enhance testing efficiency.
Collaborate with developers and product designers to integrate accessibility best practices throughout the development process.
Conduct in-depth reviews of user interfaces and design specifications to identify and mitigate accessibility barriers.
Mentor junior QA team members on accessibility standards and testing methodologies.
Advocate for accessibility by conducting training sessions and workshops for stakeholders and team members.
Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to accessibility and automation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Must-have Skills:
Strong expertise in WCAG guidelines and ADA compliance standards.
Proven experience in automation testing using Java and familiarity with related frameworks (e.g., Selenium, TestNG).
Proficiency in accessibility testing tools and techniques (e.g., Axe, WAVE, JAWS, NVDA).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Advanced English.
Nice-to-have Skills:
Certification in Accessibility.
Experience with web technologies and modern web development frameworks.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices that integrate accessibility testing.
