The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking a highly motivated functional analyst to join our team supporting the Military Sealift Command (MSC). The Functional Analyst serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical execution teams. In this role, you will partner with clients to gather, analyze, and translate complex business requirements into high-quality functional designs. As an established individual contributor, you will work on moderately complex initiatives that directly support departmental objectives, ensuring that our system processes are both efficient and scalable.



Responsibilities:
As a functional analyst with CACI supporting Military Sealift Command (MSC), you will:

  • Facilitate workshops and interviews to collect, analyze, and document clear business requirements.

  • Translate user needs into comprehensive functional specifications, including reports, interfaces, and workflows.

  • Analyze "as-is" vs. "to-be" processes to identify gaps and recommend industry best practices.

  • Serve as the primary point of communication between end-users, IT personnel, and external vendors.

  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure clear acceptance criteria, backlog prioritization, and maximum solution value.

  • Works independently with general supervision.

  • Build trust and foster high-performing team dynamics through self-management, transparent communication, collective alignment, and a fun, collaborative environment.


Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

  • US Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance

  • 2–4 years of experience in functional or systems analysis.

  • Understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban).

  • Knowledge of Jira Software, Confluence




Desired:

  • Experience supporting Military Sealift Command or similar maritime/logistics organizations.

  • Knowledge of DoD acquisition and software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$63,300-$129,700
