Position Title: Cloud & Infrastructure Solutions Architect
Work Set-up: Work From Home or Hybrid
Schedule: Monday -Friday, 9AM – 6PM PH Time
Salary: Php 70,000 – Php 90,000 (3 years plus experience)

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Project Engineer to join our offshore team supporting a high-performance IT services company. This role involves both deep technical work and direct engagement with end clients, with a strong focus on solution design, implementation, and technical leadership.

You’ll work with global stakeholders to deliver smart and secure infrastructure—including cloud environments, servers, and storage solutions.

Your Responsibilities as a Project Engineer:
• Solution Design: Lead the design and architecture of server, network and cloud solutions for both large-scale and smaller environments, ensuring they meet client-specific requirements.
• Client Engagement: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business challenges and translating them into technical solutions.
• Pre-Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs, conduct presentations, and develop proposals and technical solutions that align with business objectives.
• Cloud Architecture: Design and implement solutions using AWS, Microsoft Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Server & Storage Management: Architect scalable and secure server storage solutions with high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
• Security and Compliance: Advise clients on security best practices and compliance requirements.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to internal teams on best practices in server, storage, and cloud technologies.
• Documentation: Prepare comprehensive architecture documents, reports, and presentations.

Qualifications as a Project Engineer:
• Cloud Expertise:
o Extensive experience with AWS and Microsoft Azure (certifications preferred).
o Strong knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and hybrid cloud integrations.
• Microsoft Intune:
o Experience in deploying and managing Microsoft Intune for device and security management.
• Network Skills:
o Strong knowledge of general networking concepts and technologies (e.g., routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs).
o Experience with Cisco and other networking technologies.
o Knowledge of SD-WAN and network security best practices.
• Scripting and Automation:
o Proficiency in PowerShell, Python, or Bash for automation and management tasks.
• Disaster Recovery and Backup:
o Experience in designing DR and backup solutions for cloud and on-premises systems.
• Pre-Sales Experience:
o Proven track record in pre-sales activities, including client presentations and proposal development.

Soft Skills:
o Excellent presentation and communication skills.
o Ability to simplify complex technical information for non-technical audiences.
o Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
o Self-starter
o Good command of English

Desirable Skills:
• Virtualization:
o Experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or similar technologies.
o Container & Cloud Automation
• Server & Storage:
o Expertise in designing and managing server and storage solutions for both large-scale and smaller environments.
• Database Management: Familiarity with SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Compliance Standards: Strong understanding of ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and other regulatory requirements.
• Project Management: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
