Hourly workers - we call them Crew Members - are Bluecrew’s lifeblood. We employ thousands of W-2 workers who are dependable, looking for flexibility, and ready to accept short- or long-term jobs, which they are intelligently matched with by our Elastic Hourly Workforce (EHW) platform. Bluecrew’s EHW combines multiple products and services into an end-to-end, intuitive solution for Crew Members to manage their work lives, and for our workplace customers to manage their hourly workforce.

Our workplace customers are challenged with variable demand; longer term, more predictable variability such as seasonal and cyclical, and less predictable, shorter term variability like absenteeism and large unexpected customer orders. This variability in demand creates complex challenges to effectively and efficiently manage hourly labor which until Bluecrew, has been left unsolved. 

Job Description

Bluecrew’s marketing team is looking for an analytical, growth-minded marketer to own and scale our marketing programs that generate B2B customer leads and programs that drive new workplaces to leverage a nimble hourly workforce. 

The marketing team at Bluecrew is leading a digital revolution in an industry that is still being run offline with old school tactics, and you will be a leading force on the team that wants to change the way hourly workers find jobs.  This is a results-oriented role where you will own goals for lead generation and user acquisition, develop marketing strategies, execute a plan with a data-first approach, and nimbly iterate with a strong test-and-learn mentality to hit key goals and metrics.

In this role, you’ll define acquisition strategies and set goals, work with external media platforms and agencies, develop and execute campaigns, and manage results.  We are looking for someone who likes automated solutions and efficiency, but we also love to experiment with new tactics. We are looking for a marketing ninja who can develop and execute a variety of programs and is adaptable to flex across business priorities as we grow.

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop marketing programs targeting the SMB and Mid-Market workplace audience to generate B2B leads and acquisition of new prospective workplaces.

  • Manage existing programs, such as outbound email marketing and organic social, while developing and testing new, innovative programs and channels to generate sales qualified leads.

  • Create and manage automated nurturing campaigns to re-generate leads from dormant prospects.

  • Partner with Bluecrew’s in-house Sales team to coordinate cross-functional initiatives and establish a closed-loop feedback process for continuous learnings and improvements throughout the sales cycle.

  • Manage external relationships with vendors, media partners, and agencies

  • Analyze campaign and customer data to understand the effectiveness of our marketing,  understand our users, showcase and report on results, and develop actionable insights

  • Partner with finance to manage budgets and forecasts for marketing program spend

  • Work with the product and engineering teams to build scalable programs by automating manual processes and tasks and ensuring we have the right integrations with our partners

  • Consistently setup, manage, and report on tests with a rigorous data and hypothesis driven approach to achieve results

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with B2B customer acquisition marketing across multiple channels in a complex environment.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem solving skills to understand what data is needed, get it, and develop insights.

  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, coupled with highly developed interpersonal skills.

  • Experience with marketing automation platforms - such as Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot, or Eloqua

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver them on time and on budget

  • You have an eye for powerful design that delights audiences and effectively conveys critical benefits, messages, and the importance of our brand.

  • You thrive working in a dynamic, fast paced growth environment and are comfortable with ambiguity

  • Ability to ruthlessly prioritize and think both strategically and tactically

  • You are a self-starter who is relentlessly resourceful. When something needs to get done, you always find a way to make it happen. Even when the work is hard, you have the drive to work through it
