Welcome to Blue Star Families, an organization founded in 2009 by military spouses aimed at strengthening and empowering military and veteran families to thrive while they serve our country. Our mission is to connect military families with their civilian neighbors, fostering strong communities of support through shared experiences and resources.

At Blue Star Families, we understand the unique challenges that military families face, including frequent relocations, deployment stress, and the impact on children's education. To help ease these transitions, we provide programs and resources focused on easing K-12 transitions through initiatives like the Military Interstate Children’s Compact Commission (MIC3). Our services include support for families going through layoffs, access to community resources, and opportunities for members to connect with others in similar situations. By creating a network of support that reaches across military connections to civilian communities, we strive to create a sense of belonging and support that all families deserve.
