Binti is seeking an experienced Government Affairs Representative to help scale and operationalize our state government affairs strategy and external partnerships. This role blends strategic coordination, executive-level engagement, and operational rigor.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in government affairs, public policy, legislative affairs, consulting, or a closely related field
- Direct experience with state government affairs strongly preferred
- Proven ability to work confidently with senior stakeholders, including governors' offices, legislative leadership, and executive partners
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage many parallel workstreams without losing momentum
- Strong executive presence and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfort having direct, sometimes difficult conversations to drive accountability and results
- Ability to operate independently while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams
- Interest in child welfare, government innovation, and mission-driven work
- Thrives in a startup environment, comfortable with ambiguity and evolving priorities
