This is for a fast-growing, celebrity-owned protein snack brand in the U.S. redefining what snacking can be — clean, craveable, and packed with protein. Backed by seasoned CPG operators, our client is scaling rapidly with national retail distribution and bold innovation.

As Category Insights Manager, you’ll be the hub of analytics and insights — turning data into clear, actionable strategies that guide Sales, Marketing, R&D, and Leadership. Your role will shape category positioning, uncover growth opportunities, and help the brand stand out in a competitive marketplace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage syndicated data sources (IRI, Nielsen, SPINS, Numerator, retailer portals) and translate findings into compelling stories.
  • Deliver category and line reviews for key accounts, positioning the brand as a thought leader.
  • Build and maintain dashboards tracking performance, pricing, promotions, and ROI.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities and inform new product innovation.
  • Partner with Marketing to measure campaign effectiveness and with R&D to test innovation hypotheses.
  • Train Sales and cross-functional teams on interpreting insights and using data to drive decisions.
  • Present insights to senior leadership, connecting data to strategic recommendations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Data Science, or related field (MBA a plus).
  • 3+ years’ experience in CPG analytics, insights, or category management.
  • Strong proficiency with syndicated data systems (IRI, Nielsen, SPINS) and Excel; experience with BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker) preferred.
  • Excellent data visualization, storytelling, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to balance detail orientation with big-picture strategy.
  • Strong collaboration and influencing skills; thrives in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environments.
  • Must be willing to work night shift Philippine time (details will be provided and work schedule may still change, so we need someone who can adjust as needed).
  • Must be able to commit exclusively to this full-time role (40 hours per week) with no outside part-time or full-time employment, as this position supports a high-value client.
