What you'll do
- Respond to TDP platform support requests from other Atlassians, help with any issues they have with platform
- Work with TDP platform developers to better understand the system you're supporting
- Work with other Shields across the company to understand established best practices
- Understand customers' pain points, and identify recurring patterns, be the customers' advocate for features
- Keep our documentation and processes up-to-date to avoid recurrences of the same problem
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the TDP platform
Your background
- 5+ years of experience as Shield Engineering with experience in technical support
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Desire to help others with their technical problems, even if trivial or repetitive
- Deep technical curiosity
- Ability to read and understand one or more of Kotlin and Java, and preferably able to write code for simple problems
The following are not required, but definite bonuses:
- Experience with software development in Kotlin/Java
- Knowledge of AWS technologies
- Knowledge of container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
