Canada onlyRoleOverview: We are seeking an experienced Windows 365 Solution Architect withextensive expertise in End User Computing (EUC), cloud virtualization, andMicrosoft modern workplace technologies. The ideal candidate will beresponsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing Windows 365 and AzureVirtual Desktop (AVD) environments while ensuring security, scalability,performance, and cost efficiency.
This rolerequires strong architectural leadership, hands-on technical expertise, and theability to engage with stakeholders to define and deliver enterprise-gradevirtual desktop solutions.
KeyResponsibilities
- Design, architect, and implement Windows 365(W365) and Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) solutions.
- Lead virtual desktop transformation initiativesand modern workplace programs.
- Assess business and technical requirements andtranslate them into scalable cloud desktop architectures.
- Perform cost modeling, licensing analysis, andoptimization for Windows 365 and Azure Virtual Desktop environments.
- Design and implement highly available,resilient, and secure cloud virtualization solutions.
- Configure and manage Microsoft Intune forendpoint management, device compliance, application deployment, and policyadministration.
- Define and implement identity and accessmanagement strategies using Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Design and support Azure networking componentsincluding Virtual Networks (VNet), VPN, ExpressRoute, network security, andconnectivity architectures.
- Ensure solutions align with enterprise security,governance, compliance, and regulatory requirements.
- Create architecture documents, technicaldesigns, implementation plans, and operational runbooks.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, security,networking, and business stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, andbest-practice recommendations for EUC and virtualization environments.
RequiredQualifications
- 8–10+ years of experience in End User Computing(EUC), desktop virtualization, and cloud technologies.
Stronghands-on experience with:
- Windows 365 (W365) deployment, administration,and management
- Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) architecture,deployment, and operations
- Microsoft Intune endpoint management and policyconfiguration
- Proven experience performing cost analysis,capacity planning, and optimization for AVD and W365 environments.
Deepunderstanding of:
- Azure Networking (VNet, VPN, ExpressRoute)

- Strong stakeholder management, communication,presentation, and documentation skills.
- Ability to lead architecture discussions anddrive technical decision-making.
