You will act as a trusted advisor, providing clear, empathetic, non-medical information to inform their pharmacy choice. We are seeking someone with a genuine understanding for patients navigating this path, with experience in sales, and a passion for helping people.
Job Description
Responsibilities
Engage with Inbound Leads: Call prospective patients who have requested a fertility medication quote to answer their questions and guide them through available options.
Provide Compassionate Guidance: Offer clear, empathetic information on pricing, insurance, and logistics to help patients navigate their financial and logistical options.
Support Informed Decisions: Act as a trusted advisor to help patients understand their concerns and empower them to make the best decisions for their individual needs.
Manage Sales Data: Diligently document all interactions and patient insights in a CRM system or Google Sheet to ensure seamless follow-up and data-driven improvements.
Collaborate for Patient Success: Partner with pharmacy operations, support, and sales teams to ensure a seamless and supportive patient experience.
Additional Responsibilities
Nurture Leads: Manage call lists and diligently maintain records of all quote requestors to easily analyze outreach impact.
Handle Specific Inquiries: Manage over-the-phone price quote and price match requests.
Manage Promotions: Handle follow-up with all patients who apply for a promotion or discount.
Contribute to Broader Conversion Tactics: Collaborate on the cadence and content of nurture email campaigns to continuously improve the patient journey.
Preferred Qualifications
Inside Sales or Sales experience: 1-2 years of experience in an inside sales, patient support, or customer-facing role conducted predominantly over the phone.
Empathy and Patient Focus: A strong sense of empathy and a genuine understanding for patients navigating sensitive medical treatments.
Communication & Trust: Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to build trust quickly over the phone.
Adaptability & Independence: The ability to work independently in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Tech-Savvy: Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software or sales enablement tools, and Google Sheets.
Experience in a Healthcare: Experience working in patient environments, such as a fertility clinic, specialty pharmacy, or telehealth setting is a plus, but not required
Language Skills: Bilingual in Spanish or another language is a plus, but not required.

Additional Physical Job Requirements
Physical requirements for this role include the ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard and mouse for extended periods of time, stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies, make frequent repetitive motions required to operate a computer that include the wrists, hands and fingers, and lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds. The role also requires the ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions, discern auditory information, and visually perceive details to perform essential job functions.

Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: $65,000 - $75,000

Location Requirement: Employment at Alto is limited to individuals residing in the following states: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Florida, Kansas, Maryland, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Washington (WA), and Wisconsin.
