Requirements
We are looking for a Senior Buyer / Procurement Lead with a solid background in managing supplier relationships, translating business needs into actionable sourcing strategies, and turning identified gaps into high-impact solutions, to become a Business Transformation & Strategy Execution Consultant.
Someone who thrives in high-pressure environments and has hands-on experience in complex problem-solving roles within FMCG and retail industries, managing cross-border suppliers, driving operational excellence, and ensuring seamless translation of business demands into scalable, high-impact purchasing strategies.
You will rock at this role if you have:
- Managed global and multi-local supplier relationships across multiple markets
- Negotiated with strategic vendors and made data-driven sourcing decisions
- Translated business and category needs into actionable procurement plans
- Detected supply chain or process gaps and turned them into opportunities to optimize operations and accelerate results.
- Monitored KPIs, supplier performance, and compliance with commercial agreements.
Managed internal and external stakeholders in multicultural contexts.
- Ensured consistency in procurement execution across countries, categories, or business units.
Anticipated and mitigated sourcing risks.
- Fluent Spanish and English are mandatory; you will interact with native and bilingual executives.
French or German is highly valued.
Based in Spain or able to relocate shortly.
Nice to have:
- Proven track record of implementing large-scale procurement or category improvements in challenging environments.
- Experience in Lean, OKR, or other execution frameworks, delivering measurable impact.
