We seek to unlock the full potential of gene therapy using our platform, Therapeutic Vector Evolution (TVE), which combines the power of directed evolution with our approximately one billion synthetic AAV capsid-derived sequences to invent evolved vectors for use in our products. GENERAL SUMMARY
Support the advancement of 4D-150 by collaborating with key thought leaders, opinion leaders, and influencers in Retina care at both local and national levels. These individuals will bring exceptional clinical expertise and work closely with designated thought leaders to foster advocacy for nAMD treatment and the transformative potential of gene therapy, specifically 4D-150. They will establish partnerships with leading physician groups and societies, helping to build momentum within the field. Additionally, this team will identify educational needs and opportunities, ensuring these insights are effectively integrated into our broader corporate strategies. This position will cover the territory of Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Vermont, North Carolina. Please note this is subject to change
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and implement a strategic plan to support the advancement of 4D-150 through engagement with key thought leaders and influencers in Retina care.
- Exhibit strong clinical expertise in disease states and product-specific knowledge.
- Gather and share valuable customer insights and feedback to inform go-to-market strategies and brand development.
- Represent the company in customer interactions with a deep understanding of the 4D-150 program and the transformative potential of gene therapy for nAMD.
- Facilitate collaboration and knowledge-sharing among internal stakeholders to align efforts and drive success.
- Build relationships with leadership from regional and national retina societies, as well as ophthalmic and optometric organizations, to identify partnership opportunities for 4DMT.
- Uphold the highest standards of integrity by ensuring full compliance with all regulations and company policies.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a science or business-related field.
Experience:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
- Previous team leadership experience is preferred.
- Direct experience working with customers in Retina segments, with an established network of thought leader relationships strongly desired.
Skills:
- Strong clinical expertise, particularly in specialty pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical settings.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to excel in cross-functional roles.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Travel: 80%
Base salary compensation range: $183,000 - $221,000
