We are seeking a skilled SEO Specialist with a strong technical background to enhance our online visibility and increase organic traffic to our website. This vital role supports our mission by conducting deep keyword research, tracking our keywords and competitor activities, suggesting strategic blog content for better rankings, and managing the overall SEO health of our website.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute successful SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and overall site health.
- Conduct keyword research to guide the content team in creating SEO-friendly content that aligns with user intent.
- Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance and report on progress.
- Collaborate with content writers and counselors to assign and oversee article creation, ensuring a balance between informative content and SEO optimization.
- Conduct technical SEO audits and work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Optimize website content, landing pages, and paid search copy.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and changes in SEO and major search engine algorithms.
- Manage off-page optimization projects (e.g., link-building) in collaboration with our PR agency.
- Oversee and improve organic search engine performance and goal-setting based on click-through rates, traffic, and conversions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as an SEO Specialist or similar role.
- Knowledge of standard and current SEO practices.
- Experience with SEO reporting and website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs).
- Familiarity with content management systems (e.g., WordPress).
- Understanding of ranking factors and search engine optimization practices.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with numerical aptitude.
