This Project Coordinator role lives within the customer engagement arm of the Granicus’ Digital Services Implementation Team and is a key member of the Implementation Services (IS) team. This team helps customers (government agencies) create valued online services, and partners with customer to enhance the way that government organizations support their communities through strategic experience management. 
 
As a Project Coordinator, you will be key partner in the successful rollout of projects across our customer base by assisting project managers and customers. This role is perfect for an individual with a passion for organization, developing processes and helping people reach their objectives. In this role, you will optimize productivity and remove impediments that obstruct the portfolio’s goals by preserving the team's ability to rapidly respond to change. The right candidate can drive cross-team and cross-functional improvements by planning, collaboration, and coordination across the multiple disciplines without losing sight of the overall goals.  

What your impact will look like:

    • Coordinate and facilitate Project Team and customer meetings as necessary. 
    • Act as a facilitator on project calls, an impartial referee, to ensure best possible outcomes.  
    • Document meeting minutes & records and follow up on action items. 
    • Work within the project team organization to remove impediments. 
    • Collaborate with members of the Implementation Team to facilitate the progress of the deliverables across projects.  
    • Collaborate with members of the Technical Team to facilitate the progress of the projects.  
    • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the organization’s standards and practices Team Performance Reporting.  
    • Monitor and report on the performance of the deliverable daily. 
    • Pro-actively take action to ensure alignment to objectives and goals.  
    • Employ continuous improvement methodologies to increase Team efficiency and deliverable quality.  
    • Provide feedback to Project Leadership on team performance and adherence to the organization’s standards and practices Project Management.  
    • Use metrics and ratings to monitor and report on project Team performance.  
    • Communicate the status of the projects throughout the project lifecycle to Stakeholders.  
    • Identify and communicate project risks and issues. 
    • Identify and partner with project stakeholders.  
    • Use best practices in communicating to establish a trusting relationship with project stakeholders.  
    • Assist in driving projects to their published schedules.  
    • Manage and maintain tools, metrics, and related processes.  
    • Shadow Implementation Consultants and Project Managers on projects as required. 
    • Assist in maintaining project plans, project status reports, and other relevant project documentation. 
    • Collaborate and work closely with internal partners. You will be fostering relationships with coworkers across the company to support their efforts while delivering. 
    • Staying up to date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems. 
    • Other duties as assigned.

You'll love this job if you have:

    • Have 1 to 2 years of experience working in software/tech, specifically around project management, and/or business analysis. 
    • Have excellent communications skills – listening, verbal, and written. 
    • Demonstrate and ensure timely and thorough communication of strategy, deliverable status, and results.      
    • Have a relentless commitment to prioritizing the most valuable work first. 
    • Able to work both independently and as a member of cross-functional teams. 
    • Are a self-starter. 
    • Have a track record of functioning well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing demands. 
    • Have a passion for customers. 
    • Have a proven track record of developing and maintaining profitable and reference-able customer relationships. 

Preferred skills:

    • Are bilingual (English and French) – preferred. 
    • Possess a Certified Associate in Project Management(CAPM) Certification or Equivalent. 

Security requirements:

    • Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program.
