About the role
We are seeking a visionary Director of Employee Relations to join our dynamic People team. This role isn't just about managing policies; it's about shaping the employee experience from the ground up. We need a passionate leader who can drive initiatives that promote engagement, resolve conflicts, and ensure compliance with integrity.

Responsibilities

    • Craft and execute innovative employee relations strategies that set the standard for excellence and foster a culture of trust and respect company-wide
    • Serve as a beacon of support and guidance for managers and employees, offering expert advice on complex HR matters and empowering others to navigate challenges confidently
    • Conduct diligent workplace investigations into employee concerns, ensuring fairness, confidentiality, and adherence to legal standards, and transform findings into actionable insights, providing consultation to senior leadership, including executives, when needed
    • Collaborate seamlessly across departments, including with HR Business Partners and our Legal team, to address employee relations issues swiftly and strategically, safeguarding our values and reputation
    • Anticipate regulatory changes and proactively update policies and practices to ensure compliance, mitigating risks before they arise
    • Elevate our team's capabilities through targeted training programs that equip employees with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in a diverse and inclusive workplace
    • Leverage data-driven insights to identify trends, anticipate challenges, and drive continuous improvement in our employee relations initiatives that provide impact across our global enterprise

Qualifications

    • JD is preferred but not required, and HR compliance and employment law experience are a plus
    • 12+ years of progressive experience in employee relations and workplace investigations, employment law, or HR compliance, demonstrating a track record of driving positive change and fostering a culture of respect and accountability
    • Deep expertise in employment law and regulations, coupled with exceptional judgment and integrity
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior management
    • Comfortable with ambiguity and leading complex strategy discussions
    • A natural problem solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for uncovering solutions that drive lasting impact, including the ability to analyze data, understand trends, and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
$150,000 - $229,000 a year
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time Employee Relations Director is $150,000 - $229,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
