We are seeking a Senior Highjump Developer (Canada/US Remote). This role will enhance the functionality and effectiveness of our WMS platform, resulting in higher productivity in our distribution center operations. The right candidate will have the opportunity to create a significant and positive impact in the organization. 

What you'll do

    • Be responsible for delivering features and customizations within the WMS. 
    • Help maintain the WMS, ensuring smooth operations for our DCs. 
    • Work with our operations and technology groups to identify improvement opportunities and design new features to meet their goals.
    • Assist in the translating of business requirements into technical design documents
    • Design and implement a scalable solution with 24x7 availability in mind
    • Debug and troubleshoot solutions or production issues with our WMS Administrators
    • Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported on, and resolved in a timely manner.
    • Implementing strong software development practices and processes (especially CI/CD and automated testing)
    • Participate in a rotating on-call schedule

What you bring to the table

    • 5+ years developing solutions within Highjump Advantage tools (like Webwise, Advantage Commander, Workflow Engine, and Advantage Architect solutions)
    • Expert configuration experience with SQL database queries and stored procedures
    • Supply chain and distribution industry knowledge and expertise. Must have an in-depth understanding of WMS, Shipping & Logistics
    • Strong knowledge of fulfillment center process flows, such as the best practices around picking, packing, replenishment, order waving, receiving,  and put away.
    • Possess understanding in the areas of application programming, database, and system design
    • Prior experience with Automation Preferred
    • Self-motivated, tenacious, and a natural problem solver.
    • Strong consulting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and self-manage
    • Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
    • Willingness and ability to travel up to 5% of the time
