You may have noticed that our headquarters are in Boise, ID, but our workforce is fully remote in the following states: Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Minnesota, Ohio, Pennsylvania,  South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Virginia, or Wisconsin. All team-wide meetings are scheduled to be inclusive of U.S. time zones.

We are seeking an experienced and strategic-minded Senior Technical Project Manager (Senior TPM) to lead our technical project management efforts. The Senior TPM will play a pivotal role in driving the successful delivery of complex technical projects.

Responsibilities

    • Project Leadership and Strategy:
    • Provide strategic leadership and guidance in the planning, execution, and delivery of high-impact technical projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and priorities.
    • Develop and implement project management best practices, methodologies, and frameworks to drive consistency, efficiency, and excellence across project teams.
    • Define project strategies, roadmaps, and resource allocation plans in collaboration with key stakeholders, and oversee the execution of these strategies to achieve project success.
    • Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management:
    • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior leadership and key stakeholders, providing insights, recommendations, and guidance on project priorities, risks, and opportunities.
    • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients, to facilitate effective communication, collaboration, and alignment on project goals and expectations.
    • Lead stakeholder meetings, workshops, and presentations to provide project updates, solicit feedback, and address concerns or issues in a proactive and transparent manner.
    • Team Development and Mentorship:
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the project management team, promoting knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and innovation.
    • Lead by example, demonstrating strong leadership qualities, ethical behavior, and a commitment to excellence in project management practices.
    • Risk Management and Quality Assurance:
    • Oversee the identification, assessment, and mitigation of project risks and dependencies, ensuring that appropriate risk management strategies and contingency plans are in place to safeguard project delivery.
    • Establish quality assurance processes, standards, and metrics to monitor and evaluate project performance and outcomes, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery excellence.
    • Champion a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement within project teams, fostering a mindset of excellence and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Qualifications:

    • Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex technical projects, preferably in the web development or digital technology space.
    • Strong project management skills, with proficiency in project planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
    • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
    • Experience in mentoring and coaching junior project managers and project team members, and a passion for developing talent and fostering a culture of excellence.
    • PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant project management certifications preferred.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or Asana.
$85,000 - $135,000 a year
