Your role in our team

  • You will manage a program of automated material handling projects in Parcel applications throughout North America, generally focusing on delivery for specific clients.
  • You will lead administrative, contractual, technical, and financial aspects of the program, overseeing the delivery of multiple projects and will take responsibility for overall results of the program.
  • You will serve as primary point of contact for the client and will report and communicate status both internally and externally to ensure both Körber and the Client’s goals and objectives are achieved.
  • You will oversee multiple project master schedules to achieve timely completion of projects, ensuring both internal commitments and actions are met as well as holding the customer accountable for their commitments.
  • You will report weekly/monthly project status, including financial performance.
  • You will act as the primary interface with customer and key stakeholders.
  • You will lead multi-disciplined teams, including sub-contractors; manage conflict, establish priorities, coordinate many concurrent and sequencing activities, develop the people associated with the team, promote effective interactions among many departments, and provide the project team with leadership.
  • You will manage risks and seek opportunities.
  • You will be responsible for multiple project budgets, with goal of executing projects at or below financial plan.
  • You will exercise overall profit responsibility for the total program.
  • You will perform other duties as required by management and as required by the demands of current projects.

 

Your profile

  • You have a minimum ten (10)+ years of Project / Program Management experience demonstrating increasing levels of project value and complexity, managing multiple projects simultaneously, preferably in automated material handling, automation, and/or construction projects.
  • You have executed automation and/or construction projects in excess of $100M in value
  • You have a BS Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or similar technical field.
  • You have experience managing complex group of stakeholders and consultants within complex project environments.
  • You have strong subcontractor management experience.
  • You have experience successfully operating in a cross-functional team environment
  • You have excellent organization skills, are detail oriented and have the ability to work with a high work load with interruptions and deadlines in an open environment.
  • You are able to travel up to 50%, and as warranted based upon project needs.
  • Experience working for an international organization a plus.
  • PMP Certification/Accreditation a plus.
