About the role
We are looking for an experienced HR leader to lead the talent development functions within the People Team, including our HR Business Partner team. The ideal candidate has a passion for solving challenges and is excited about driving innovation through systems, processes, and services. You will work closely with the Chief People Officer on high-impact initiatives to advance the growth and development of the company. Key initiatives and projects include organizational design, culture, diversity, leadership development, and facilitating talent management.

Responsibilities

    • Be an excellent leader of teams, people, and communities, including direct empowerment of the HRBP team and Employee Relations team
    • Leverage a strong understanding of the business's vision, purpose, and strategy to develop and own a scalable talent development plan that includes evolving the employee value proposition and leveraging succession planning to meet our goals
    • Drive continuous learning and development across the company for our distributed teams
    • Serve as an advisor to the Chief People Officer, working together to mentor, align, and advance the team
    • Support the business with organizational change and development as it evolves, influencing leaders to address organizational design evolutions needed for business success
    • Partner with our DEIB teams to tie their work into the core deliverables and insights for the team and business, as DEIB represents a core and required focus for the company and our people
    • Responsible for informed decision-making by using data to identify trends; work with business leaders to determine the root cause of issues and develop practical solutions
    • Effectively partner with the broader People functions, including Total Rewards, People Operations, and Talent Acquisition
    • Understand and influence the Lyra Health rewards philosophy through proactive consultation with the client and partnership with the Total Rewards Team to drive a meritocracy
    • Research market trends and best practices in leadership and organizational development to be a subject matter expert
    • Build and maintain relationships with external sources of expertise so that you can effectively coach and guide on important talent and organization challenges and opportunities

Qualifications

    • 10+ years of experience as an HR leader, with a successful demonstration of capacity to lead teams and manage organizational change with executives and broader groups
    • Track record of advancing organizational strategy by creating strong talent practices aligned with business strategies
    • Ability to execute firm-wide talent initiatives with excellence in a fast-paced, global environment; dedication to innovation and continuous improvement
    • Ability to use HR reporting and analytics to generate insights, communicate findings back to the business, and track and disseminate essential HR data, including familiarity with Workday and Lever, among other tools, is a plus
    • Advanced understanding and experience working through complex employee issues at the executive level
    • Ability to own and drive flawless execution and impact across the employee lifecycle
    • Ability to work effectively with partners across multiple geographies
    • Demonstrated ability to cultivate trust and openness among colleagues and clients
    • Expertise in building consensus on a cross-functional basis
    • Facilitation skills, including encouraging creativity in solution design
$188,000 - $288,000 a year
The anticipated annual base salary range for this full-time Senior Director of Talent Development position is $188,000 - $288,000. The base range is determined by role and level, and placement within the range will depend on a number of job-related factors, including but not limited to your skills, qualifications, experience and location. This role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
