Job Description

Job Overview:

We require a highly experienced PeopleSoft Finance functional consultant to join our team as a contractor, to work on the optimisation of existing Finance solutions.

The candidate must have extensive PeopleSoft Financials experience, as a functional expert across Billing and Accounts Receivable, with specific expertise in Bank Reconciliation at a latest functionality release.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

Working closely with one of our long-standing clients, supported by other Version 1 resources:

  • Understand and define the client’s Banking requirements
  • Assess the current 9.2 customised Banking solution
  • Assess delivered/vanilla PeopleSoft (latest Image) against the requirements
  • Write a detailed report of recommendations to meet the requirements
  • Agree the new Banking solution
  • Build, test and deploy the agreed Banking solution
  • Transfer product knowledge to the client

Qualifications

Key Attributes:

  • Ability to apply excellent consulting skills to understand client requirements
  • Ability to map business processes to a system solution, identifying gaps and solutions
  • Excellent depth of PeopleSoft Finance understanding, including current features
  • Good breadth of knowledge across the Finance application, with specific areas of expertise
  • Excellent communicator
  • Team Player who is also comfortable taking leadership responsibility
  • Highly effective working remotely and within disparate teams
  • Good understanding of UK banking processes

 

Note that the candidate is not expected to be a PeopleSoft Developer, nor have detailed integration or PeopleSoft Administration skills. The candidate will be supported by such technical resources, as required, during the successful deployment of the project.
