Model N is looking for college students (who have completed their junior year) ready to jump start their career exposure with an internship. We offer unparalleled hands-on experience working in an exciting yet challenging industry. You will have the opportunity to get to know the other Model N interns and participate in workshops and trainings designed just for you and your peers. In addition, each week there will be time for additional learning through LinkedIn Learning on topics to help you develop your skills and business acumen.
The Finance Intern will partner with business and various teams (IT, GCTS, GCS) regularly to define scope and requirements of project. They will work closely with FP&A team to improve upon existing processes. The AWS Revenue to Cost Dashboard would be deliverable upon end of internship. Software License database would be ongoing throughout internship. Learning opportunities include learning financial systems and tools (excel, PowerBI, Adaptive) and understanding of FP&A processes. They will also help the FP&A team on various workstreams and deliverables (Product Cost Mapping, AvB, business requests).
Responsibilities:
- Primary Project: Power BI Dashboard Creation – Mapping Revenue to Cost
- Bonus Project 1: Software License Database – Review contracts and categorize information
- Bonus Project 2: Centralize datasources that are key to finance (Revenue, Bookings, Expenses)
- Bonus Project 3: Clean up sharepoint file pathways

- Basic excel, O365 knowledge

- Ability to take on complex projects
Compensation
- This internship will be paid hourly ($20-$22/hour).
