About the Team

Our Product Management team works cross-functionally to design and bring products to market to solve the problem of data for DevOps. These offerings accelerate application development, ensure data governance and compliance, and unlock new use cases for data for the world’s largest enterprises. Product Management is responsible for bridging the gap between the customers and our engineering team, guiding products through the full development cycle.

Product Management is a new competency in India for Delphix and is critical to building autonomous, geographically aligned teams with full ownership of a product mission.  We are looking for a Product Manager eager to jump into a fast-moving organization and help evolve a product-oriented culture that is a critical growth engine for us moving forward.

Role

As a Product Manager at Delphix, you’ll work across our organization to find new solutions for our customers and the company. We believe that leadership comes at all levels and we expect all Product Managers to grow into leadership – both by example and across development and project teams.  Product Management is both broad (market analysis to product implementation) and deep (data analysis, product knowledge, technical mastery) and we look for those who expect and demand excellence from themselves. 

This role will be focused on our Continuous Continuous product that provides industry-leading capability to discover and mask enterprise data.  Data is our business and requires us to constantly innovate by onboarding new data sources, expanding the feature sets of existing data sources, and providing new methods for the world’s largest companies to protect their data.  Experience with Data Governance and Compliance is preferred as you will work with experts in this complex domain.

Roles & Responsibilities:

    • Build the product strategy and roadmap for specific Delphix products, informed by customer and market insights, competitive analysis, technical capability, and internal initiatives/assets
    • Lead and manage the full product lifecycle market analysis, requirements definition, delivery and testing, education, internal business readiness, and customer deployment 
    • Perform in-depth market competitive analysis, and gather customer insights to develop product and competitive positioning
    • Be an expert on your product, industry, and competition and leverage that expertise to drive product innovation and capture market opportunities
    • Create and deliver product-specific and thought leadership content including blogs and webinars
    • Determine product pricing by utilizing market research data, understanding costs, anticipating volume, and pricing custom orders
    • Establish and execute winning go-to-market strategies and drive successful product adoption in collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Business Partners 

Required Skills & Experience:

    • Excellent written and verbal skills
    • Strong proficiency in English is a must
    • Experience in an enterprise software product management position, ideally in database, compliance and/or governance domainsDeep comfort with technical systems
    • A computer science or other technical degree is not required but is a strong benefit
    • Able to gather, analyze, and confidently present relevant data
    • Able to work cross-functionally as a team member and influencer
    • A desire to push the envelope to improve yourself and your team
    • Availability to collaborate with global teams and customers across many timezones
