(must be willing to come in to Washington, DC 1-2 times a year everything is paid for by company)

As we expand our operations, we are seeking a highly skilled individual to join our team as the Manager of Application Support and Development.
Position Overview: As the Manager of Application Support and Development, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the management and support of all the applications utilized across our organization. This position is not IT support-related; instead, you will be responsible for managing the functionality, performance, and optimization of our diverse range of applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in application support and management, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams and drive innovation.Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of application support and development, including application lifecycle management, performance monitoring, and optimization.Oversee a team of application support specialists and developers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including business leaders and IT teams, to understand requirements, prioritize tasks, and drive continuous improvement in application functionality and performance.Develop and implement best practices and standards for application support and development processes, ensuring adherence to industry standards and compliance requirements.Identify opportunities for automation, streamline processes, and enhance efficiency in application management and support.Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends, making recommendations for the adoption of new tools and methodologies to improve application support and development practices.
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of experience in application support and management, with a focus on managing multiple applications within a complex environment.Strong leadership and management skills, with a proven ability to lead teams and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.Experience working in a fully remote environment and managing remote teams is highly desirable.Knowledge or experience with Citrix and Aderant is a plus.Proven track record of successfully managing application support and development projects, from inception to delivery, within budget and timeline constraints.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues and challenges.
