Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to expand our business within a global acting manufacturing conglomerate with a complex internal organization and various business units. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales, with a specific focus on cold acquisition and developing new business opportunities – preferably in industrial verticals. This role involves strategizing and executing sales plans to penetrate new areas within the client, building strong relationships, and significantly contributing to our revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the global team to develop and implement effective sales strategies and offerings to expand business within the client organizations through cold acquisition.
  • Identify and target potential business opportunities within various client divisions.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
  • Reaching out to prospective leads through cold calling, emailing, and networking.
  • Present Nagarro’s unique value proposition by developing a deep understanding of Nagarro’s service portfolio and consultatively presenting it to prospects.
  • Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments.
  • Analyze market trends and competitors’ strategies to identify new opportunities.
  • Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.
  • Prepare reports on account status, sales activities, and market analysis.
  • Stay updated with the clients’ evolving needs and new product and service offerings from Nagarro.
  • Attend conferences, meetings, and industry events to build a network and represent Nagarro.
  • Create, implement, and track relationship roadmaps and Account Plans.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree or comparable training, an understanding of business development
  • Proven work experience (3-5 years) in sales, specifically with a focus on IT solutions and cold acquisition.
  • Experience in dealing with large industrial companies is preferred.
  • Professional personality with a structured, solution-oriented way of working and team-orientation in a globally distributed work environment.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Ability to build rapport and foster meaningful relationships.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
  • Aptitude in delivering attractive presentations.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
