In the late 19th century, during the height of the Industrial Revolution, the world witnessed a profound transformation in both technology and society. Engineers like Isambard Kingdom Brunel and George Stephenson were at the forefront of this change. They were not merely builders but visionaries who sculpted the very arteries of modern commerce. Their work reshaped landscapes and redefined the possibilities of industrial design. These engineers contributed to a world where infrastructure became a canvas for creativity and a catalyst for expansion. Their ability to merge innovative engineering with aesthetic appeal transformed mundane bridges and railways into iconic landmarks.

Today at Mercury, we embrace a similar blend of creativity and engineering prowess.

Here are some things you’ll do on the job:

  • Collaborate with Product and Design cross-functional partners to drive the roadmap for the team
  • Regularly meet with external stakeholders to coordinate on priorities.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and resilience, empowering your team to deliver exceptional results.
  • Develop talent on the team and hire when needed.
  • Be opinionated in building the team’s technical vision
  • Ensure the health of the team and the engineers

The ideal candidate for the role:

  • Have demonstrated the ability to lead a technical team.
  • Has a strategic mindset and is adept at navigating stakeholder asks and turning them into solutions
