Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
ManTech is seeking an Enterprise Architect (EA) to support the Secretary of the Air Force (SAF) Financial Management (FM) Chief Information Office (CIO) Transformation effort. The EA will provide expert advice to current and future Enterprise Architecture for systems in the SAF FM CIO portfolio. The ideal candidate will be familiar with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and software associated with DoDAF artifact development. The right candidate will be a dynamic partner that guides and supports the government customer to help realize the client’s modernization vision and will be responsible for suggesting and realizing improved efficiencies in the processes employed for architecture development and management.
Objectives for this effort:
Serve as Subject Matter Expert on FM Business Mission Area (BMA) architecture development, including content development and maintenance.
Contribute to FM BMA Methods & Conventions and DODAF artifact updates.
Contribute to updates to BMA-specific training materials and conduct training.
Assist system owners with developing and or updating current architecture models.
Propose improvements to current DoDAF artifacts and help evolve best practices
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, S/W Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar.
7+ years of experience working on Enterprise Architecture.
Experience with DoD and industry standard architecture tools and processes.
Experience within the Department of Defense (DoD).
Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
Knowledge of the US Air Force’s Business Mission Area functional domains (Acquisition, Finance, Human Resources, Installations, Logistics, Training & Readiness)
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Computer Science, S/W Engineering, Computer Engineering.
5+ years of experience developing and maintaining Enterprise Architecture.
Direct experience with enterprise architecture software.
Experience with the SAF FM’s Business Mission Area Functional Domains (Finance, Accounting, Budget and Cost).
Experience with the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF).
2+ years’ experience with using Enterprise Architecture data to support Portfolio Management.
Security Clearance Requirements:
US citizenship is required.
Ability to obtain a Public Trust.
