SEO Specialist

We work with leading developers and publishers within the games and tech industry, providing support and solutions designed around individual needs and carried out by global experts.

We are looking for an experienced part-time SEO Specialist to support our growing international marketing team to drive traffic to the websites of our Magic Media brands. If you’re a SEO guru with an interest in the gaming and tech industries, and the ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment, our team wants to hear from you!

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

• Develop and implement successful SEO strategies – meta optimizations, content creation, data pulling, and trend research
• Regularly conduct keyword research and provide marketers/content writers with recommendations to amend content, including metadata
• Develop and implement link building strategy (internal and external) to help build website authority
• Measure success using a variety of SEO resources including Google Search Console, GA4, and Semrush
• Design, implement, and strengthen topically focused content sections to improve SEO performance and user engagement
• Stay current on emerging trends, SEO best practices and the latest algorithmic updates.
• Monitoring campaign results against KPIs

Requirements

• 3+ years’ SEO experience
• You’re in tune with the SEO best practices
• You’re excited to be part of a growing team, take initiative, and drive results
• You are proficient in SEO industry tools, such as Semrush, Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz, Screaming Frog SEO Spider, BuzzStream, NinjaOutreach, Pitchbox, and Link Research Tools, etc.
• Experience working within various Content Management Systems such as WordPress, preferred
• Fluent in English
• Gaming experience preferable
• A passion to help a startup become a world leader in the games and entertainment industry
• Strong organisational skills and an ability to identify and prioritise key tasks
