As the Channel Account Manager (CAM), you will develop and execute strategies to drive sales and market share through effective management of the Carbyne Channel Partners.
Qualified CAM candidates will demonstrate a strong understanding of the public sector market with an emphasis on the Public Safety segment. Will possess outstanding oral and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment across a matrixed organization.
You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the successful implementation of channel programs and initiatives.
Here's what you will be working on:
Partner Management:
- Onboard, train, and support channel partners to ensure a clear understanding of products/services and sales enablement process.
- Monitor and evaluate partner performance, providing feedback and implementing improvements during monthly status reviews.
Strategy and Planning:
- Collaborate with Carbyne and Channel Partners' sales and marketing teams to develop strategies aligned with overall business objectives.
- Create and implement channel plans, including sales targets, marketing initiatives, and promotional activities.
Sales Enablement:
- Provide sales teams and channel partners with the necessary tools, resources, and training to maximize sales effectiveness.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.
Performance Analysis:
- Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPI’s) to assess the effectiveness of channel strategies.
- Prepare forecast reports on channel performance and present findings to senior management.
Collaboration:
- Work cross-functionally with product development, marketing, and other teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of channel initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of proven experience in channel management, sales, or a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work independently and with a cross-functional team.
