Job Description

• As Operation Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintain performance of JIRA and Confluence applications hosted on Red Hat servers
• You will work on the integration of new products and services into the existing tool landscape
• You will analyse and implement measures to eliminate errors and work on improving the system platform
• Last but not least, you communicate with software manufacturers and external service providers and provide 3rd level support to end users

Qualifications

Studies:

• University Diploma;

Knowledge and Skills:

• Personality: proactive, interculturally open, able to absorb facts quickly
• Working Practice: autonomously, organized, service- and customer-oriented
• Experience: several years in system integration or DevOps incl. network architecture and security and profound experience with system automation and version control systems
• Knowledge: deep knowledge and experience of operations, architecture, and monitoring of Java-based IT solutions on Linux platform. Proficiency in using performance monitoring tools like AppDynamics. Experience with Jira and Confluence is a plus
• Enthusiasm: Knowing and appreciating agile methods in a dynamic business environment as well as enjoying intercultural cooperation
• Languages: business fluent in written and spoken English and preferable German
