About this team
As a data analyst you will be reporting into a centralized Analytics & Data Science team designed to foster the data driven culture at Super. The multi-disciplinary team you will be embedded within is the driving force behind converting prospects into members of our platform and ensuring their continued engagement with our innovative fintech solutions. Our team operates at the intersection of data-driven solution-making and novel financial product development. We are devoted to rapidly testing new product ideas while enhancing acquisition channels and testing marketing strategies to attract high-intent, quality members.
About this role
We are seeking a qualified Data Analyst to embed within our fintech cross-functional team, focusing on card product acquisitions and customer engagement. In this critical role, you will dive into elaborate datasets related to financial transactions, customer behavior, and card usage patterns. Your primary accountability will be to answer strategic business questions, leverage this data to generate insightful analyses and drive our acquisition strategies by fostering robust engagement.
A significant aspect of your role will involve ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our data. You will conduct detailed investigations into our data quality, querying data at a granular level to verify the effectiveness of our tracking and analytics systems. With your strong analytical acquirements and a data-driven mindset, you will excel in quantitative analysis, using your expertise to help our team structure, visualize, and interpret large datasets.
This position offers a dynamic and impactful opportunity to assume ownership of your work as you conduct in-depth analyses to debug, QA, and refine our data processes. You will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, including the PM of Fintech, Acquisitions and Engagement, to address some of the most pressing and influential questions facing our business.
Your work will be pivotal in shaping our strategies for customer acquisitions and engagement, and you will gain exposure to a wealth of data that will inform and guide our outcomes in the fast-evolving fintech landscape.

Responsibilites

  • Data-driven Culture: As an ambassador for our data-driven culture, you will leverage elaborate datasets to generate actionable insights that influence product strategy and drive results. Specifically, you will analyze customer behaviors and trends related to our card product acquisitions and engagement, using data to enhance decision making, marketing campaigns, customer outreach efforts and more.
  • Investigate Trends & Anomalies: With a keen eye for detail, you will investigate and analyze trends and anomalies in card product performance. This includes assisting debugging efforts and drilling down into data to uncover the root causes of changes in customer acquisition rates and engagement levels. Your insights will help in fine-tuning our strategies and improving product offerings.
  • Data Management: you will access, clean and organize raw data in a way that makes sense for you, your team and your stakeholders
  • Business Awareness: you will assess the why behind our data-driven insights, and how the data both explains and impacts our business outcomes. This includes analyzing how different customer segments answer to our card offerings and identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and devotion.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with tools such as DBT, Amplitude, Snowflake, Looker & Git.
  • Experience to independently collaborate with business stakeholders and create data models designed to address specific questions and uncover valuable business insights.
