Who we are
About Stripe
Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies—from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups—use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career.
About the team
From single-developer startups to enterprise companies with thousands of employees, our users rely on Stripe as the commerce platform to power their business. Whether they’re modeling business workflows like shipping a product after it’s successfully been paid, or storing data about a customer to run reports against at the end of the quarter, it’s our mission to extend the capabilities of Stripe so that users of all backgrounds can model their business on top of our platform.
The Extensibility Platform organization builds the products and underlying platform that extends the capabilities of what Stripe can do for our users. This includes programmatic notification of events that occur on Stripe with Event Destinations like Webhooks, storing custom data with Metadata, and customizing business workflows with Automations. Our work spans the entirety of the Stripe product surface area, which means that we sit at the intersection of end users, product teams, and infrastructure at Stripe.
