Senior Project Scheduler - Clearance Required

Overview

LMI seeks a skilled Sr. Project Scheduler to support activities related to shipyard modernization as part of enterprise-wide U.S. Navy strategic modernization and improvement efforts. LMI is helping NAVSUP, NAVSEA, and the shipyards use technology to track materiel through the shipyards to address long-standing problems.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
• Implement the project schedule, including sequencing of activities and dependencies.
• Monitor progress against the schedule and adjust as necessary to accommodate changes or delays.
• Develop executive level schedule metrics and management reports.
• Identify and analyze the critical path.
• Perform schedule analysis of progress against the baseline plan.
• Perform “what if” scenarios within the schedules.

Qualifications

MINIMUM:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, management, finance, or information management and over 10 years of experience in scheduling.
• Proficiency and expertise in Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint.
• Ability to communicate clearly with a variety of stakeholders.
• Ability to effectively solve complex problems.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• A true team player who maintains a positive attitude in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
