THE ROLE:

We are seeking a Partnership Manager to help source and manage brand new influencer relationships for our brands and their management team. As a Partnership Manager you will be working alongside other Partnership Managers and managing your own portfolio of influencers ranging from 50-75 influencers at a given time. The goal for the Partnership Manager is to identify strong performing partners to pass them off to our Core Partnership Team to continue to build the relationship and facilitate the long term relationship. This person will be directly responsible for all campaign needs from staart to finish, including; outreach, negotiations, any communications between brand and talent along with content review and analyzing performance metrics. The Partnership Manager will support the Brand Services team in gathering all data needed for the Brand to approve the talent along with working collectively with the Partnerships team to ensure that all Brand budgets are met on a month to month basis. Our ideal candidate will have strong multitasking skills to keep up in our fast-paced and ever changing environment. They should be prepared to juggle 1-3 tasks at a time and consistently think proactively to ensure that all their partners continue hitting the brand's KPI goals. The candidate should also have a working knowledge of the influencer marketing world and already have skills in negotiations, campaign management and superb communication skills both verbally and written.

TOP 5 JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Portfolio Management: Managing and growing your own book of YouTuber/IG influencer business and should be able to source 50-75 net new influencers each month to activate on brand partnerships. Negotiating with influencers and their managers to get the best rates and deliverables. Drafting and execution of influencer agreements
  2. Influencer Relationships: Fostering each influencer relationship and managing a strong centralized day to day communication with each partner. Maintains a minimum monthly influencer spend of $125K and maximum of $175K.
  3. Business Development: Identifies high quality partnerships and provides all the necessary details to persuade the clients to book each partner. Demonstrates a clear understanding of each client’s KPIs and has the ability to use those metrics to skillfully negotiate each campaign deliverable and rate.
  4. Internal Support: Pays attention to detail and makes all relevant recommendations based on the brands specific requests and KPI goals. Effectively and clearly communicates with team members and clients through email, slack and on calls.
  5. Collaboration and Innovation: Thinking outside the box to test new influencer categories and new social media channels which may include TikTok, SnapChat, Twitch, blogs, newsletters and more. Proactively thinks of ways to build trust with partners and help them grow their following.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE:

By 6 MONTHS to 1 YEAR…

  • You should be an expert on how to effectively source 50-85 net new influencers each month.
  • Cultivating relationships with talent managers to ensure they are proactively sharing new signs with you to test with.
  • You should be an expert on all AP client protocols including their messaging briefs, deliverables, posting deadlines, budgets, demographics and more.
  • You should be able to complete your weekly Vital Factors with very few errors/comments which include passing off successful influencers to our core Partnership Managers.
  • Proactively asking influencers for added values and commenting on how to expand their presence across all AP clients.
  • You should have a good grasp of your day to day routine and ensure that all emails are responded and acknowledged within 48 hours of receiving feedback from the Partner or Talent Agency.
  • Ideally managing and executing a monthly spend of all paid media that ranges from $125K to $175K in gross spend.

QUALITIES OF THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

  • The ideal candidate will already have hundreds of influencer/agency contacts and relationships readily available and will be able to manage 50-75 influencers at a time.
  • Detail oriented is an understatement
  • Innately entrepreneurial - jack of all trade’s mindset
  • Ability to thrive in an extremely fast-paced environment is vital for success.
  • Enjoys the Influencer Marketing world and being able to spot trends and continuously think creatively
  • Be able to multitask and prioritize the important tasks to ensure they don't slip through

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • 2 - 4 years of influencer marketing experience is strongly preferred.
  • 3 years of brand experience is a huge plus, but not mandatory.
  • Passionate about influencer marketing. Embodies grit and tenacity - the desire to be the best at what you do
  • Exceptional verbal/written communication skills
  • Goal and deadline-oriented (sales minded)
